How many merino shirts should you pack?
Work out a merino shirt packing count from laundry access, drying time, activities, and backups. Use clear trip examples without relying on wear-day claims.

Estimate a practical shirt rotation using trip length, wash access and a drying buffer. This is a planning range, not a promise of odor-free wear.
The planner starts with the days before your next wash, adds a drying buffer, and caps the result at the length of the trip. Casual travel gives a range from one wear per shirt to a possible second wear if it is clean and comfortable. Active days use a fresh shirt per day. One spare is included.
Reduce repeat wears for heat, sweat, stains or personal comfort. In a humid room, a thicker knit can still be damp the next morning. Pack a separate sleep shirt if you want one; it is not included here.
