How to choose
Nylon, elastane, lyocell and cotton should not be treated as interchangeable additions. Start with the exact percentages and the maker’s construction description. A nylon-core yarn and a conventional mixed-fiber fabric can carry similar percentages while being built differently.
Then compare the garments rather than ranking them by wool content. Look at the fit, intended use and published fabric weight. A higher wool percentage does not by itself prove that one shirt has better stretch, durability or drying performance than another.
